The program is planned to start on January 8.*
The program spans over six months, each level is approximately 3 months long.*
The program will be delivered using a blended approach (in-person and online).
For in-person delivery, the hours are from 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM, 7 hours per day.
For virtual live delivery, the hours are between 12:00 and 4:00, 1.5-3 hours per day.
The program is delivered in English.
Dubai Future Foundation will co-fund the program, and the total fees is 70,000 AED per participant. The cost per participant is 35,000 AED for both levels.
Note: Costs do not cover accommodation and transportation to and from the training venue.

Preferably apply through your entity, but if you self-nominate, make sure to obtain the approval of your entity prior to applying.
No, accepted candidates should be able to manage to attend the program and their work. Candidates are required to attend the program between 1 – 2 weeks per month.
The nominated individuals will go through two levels of assessments before enrolling in the program. Only 20-25 candidates will be accepted for this cohort. Each entity can nominate up to 5 candidates, and a maximum of 2 candidates from each entity can be accepted into the program.

Stage 1
Application and meeting eligibility criteria.
Stage 2
Assess eligibility and participation in a face-to-face interview with the DFEP selection committee.
Stage 3
Program acceptance and completion of online courses
DFEP team will reach out to the entity and every applying participant that meets the eligibility criteria with an acceptance or rejection email after stage 2 and stage 3 of assessments. (By December 2023)
A learning journey involves two highly interactive modules, self-directed activities to apply skills learned, live online sessions, self-paced assessment preparation, and a Certified Foresight Practitioner Assessment.
January – March 2024*
Level two spans over 3 months with live-online office hours, prerecorded instructional videos, portfolio development, and project work. The program requires continuous environmental scanning as part of their overall journey.
Participants who successfully complete the coursework and are in good standing of the Certified Foresight Practitioner designation, may submit their portfolio for consideration of the Certified Foresight Ambassador credential; designation is valid for three years.
April – June 2024*
All participants graduate level 1, but only those who successfully completed the program are eligible for the Certified Foresight Practitioner exam, which will be open for a specific date range.
Participants who successfully complete the course work and are in good standing of the Certified Foresight Practitioner designation may submit their portfolio for consideration for the Certified Foresight Ambassador credential. Only those who get Certified Foresight Ambassador credential graduate from level 2.
A certificate of completion from the Dubai Future Foundation and the Executive Council of Dubai.
A global Professional Foresight Certification Credentials will be awarded to those who pass the assessments at each level
Professional development requirements to remain credentialed and build future capacity: Earn 30 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) before the 3-year certification period expires by attending DFF approved list of courses.
