Faisal J. Abbas is an author and the Editor-in-Chief of Arab News, the leading English-language daily in the Middle East. With over 20 years of experience in journalism, he previously served as the editor of the English-language service at Al Arabiya News Channel. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Journalists Association (SJA), a renowned columnist on Arab affairs, and a regular contributor to CNN, BBC World, and other media outlets. Abbas has received numerous media awards, including the London-based Next Century Foundation’s Cutting Edge Award (2009) for his efforts to foster understanding between the West and the Arab world.
