About Speaker

Dr Kyriacos Koupparis is a leader in tech-driven solutions for food security and climate resilience. As Head of the Early Warning and Forecasting Unit at the UN World Food Programme, he leads a team using big data and AI to monitor food crises globally. Formerly at USAID and the U.S. State Department, he directed programs advancing digital ecosystems in Asia and water-smart tech in MENA. A '22 Yale World Fellow, Kyriacos holds a Ph.D. from UC San Francisco.
