About Speaker

Julia Reindl is a senior foresight analyst and researcher specialising in public perception and engagement on emerging environmental issues and technologies. She received the Next Generation Foresight Practitioner Award (Europe, 2022/23) for her work on public engagement with Solar Radiation Management (SRM), using innovative futures methodologies. As a fellow at DSG, the Alliance for Just Deliberation on Solar Geoengineering, Julia leads workshops within the Arctic Youth Futures for Solar Geoengineering project. This initiative examines Arctic youth attitudes and perceptions towards SRM, exploring its potential social implications and facilitating the co-creation of SRM futures led by Arctic communities.
