About Speaker

Dima Al Srouri is a city strategist and creative thought leader, bridging urban planning, design, and sustainability. With experience in multi-scalar, interdisciplinary, and complex projects, she has worked on planning and implementing spatial framework plans and 2030 visions at the city level. Dima has served as a judge for Gulf Sustainability Awards and participated in various conferences and panels on sustainable development locally and internationally. She currently directs the Biospheric City Lab, a consultancy for sustainable development based in Dubai Design District, and is an adjunct lecturer in Urban Planning & Development at Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi. She also founded MycoSphere, a company innovating with fungi and producing mushrooms and mycelium material from upcycled waste.
