About Speaker

As Associate Director for Foresight at Arup University, Charlie focuses on developing global foresight capabilities, building futures literacy, and leading programmes related to future space and place within the built environment. Previously, she advised on emergent themes and technologies at the UK Government Office for Science, and led the Futures Practice at Kantar Consulting. Charlie received the Next Generation Foresight Practitioner Award (Europe, 2019) for her work on rural town revival and is a Fellow at the Centre for Science and Policy at Cambridge University.
