About Speaker

Matthias Honegger is the Climate Interventions Program Director at the International Center for Future Generations. With a background in Environmental Systems Sciences and Political Science, Matthias works with decision-makers in the EU and globally to advance the governance of sunlight reflection methods aimed at countering climate change. He engages with scientific, public, and decision-maker communities to anticipate and navigate climate threats and the challenges of climate interventions. Matthias believes that making wise decisions requires broad deliberations, excellent science, and robust international governance.
