About Speaker
Dr. Alexander Dale is the Director of Global Challenges for MIT Solve. He oversees all of Solve’s programmatic work to find, fund, and support exceptional innovators working to address the world’s greatest challenges in climate, economic prosperity, health, and learning. Alexander has a PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a BSE in Engineering Physics, and has held previous roles as the Executive Director of Engineers for a Sustainable World and with the US EPA’s Transportation and Climate Division. Outside of work, he reads a lot of science fiction, volunteers for better transit systems, and helps his young daughters explore the world.
