About Speaker
Zainab Kakal has 15 years of experience in starting, designing, and managing innovative initiatives in sustainability. She has worked on frontier projects in climate, energy, and cities with deep dives in tourism, mobility, and circular economy. Currently, she is the Regional Innovation Specialist at UNDP Pacific, providing design, learning, and experimentation support to 16 countries. Previously, Zainab worked with Unilever, Shell, and the World Resources Institute, and ran her own sustainable travel enterprise. She is a trained facilitator and coach, loves writing, reading, practising yoga, and taking long walks.
