Nithiya Laila is a culinary anthropologist exploring the intersection of food, culture, and identity, uncovering the rich histories and traditions that shape diverse culinary practices worldwide. Her work in sustainable food systems has been featured in Vogue, Tatler, Female Magazine, Ministry of Sustainability, Singapore Airlines, and the Singapore Tourism Board. She is the founder of SG SeedxChange, a community platform for the exchange of native seeds aimed at promoting biodiversity and the use of locally grown produce. An award-winning TV presenter on Channel News Asia Singapore for 'Edible Wild', her travelling docuseries examines how ultra-urbanites of Asia's megacities grow, forage, and cook with indigenous ingredients. She is a Tatler GenT Leader of Tomorrow and sits on the advisory board of ZeroFoodPrintAsia, a regenerative farm aggregator fund.
