Sarah Owen is a trend forecaster, futurist, and social scientist with a background in digital culture and human values. With 14 years of experience, she specialises in guiding both private and public sector organisations through strategic foresight, scenario planning, and trend analysis. Sarah has previously worked in the US, Australia, and Europe, analysing emerging trends and behavioural shifts for WGSN, consulting with Fortune 500 brands, and writing for publications such as The New York Times, WARC, and i-D magazine. An academic with a Masters in Sociology from ISCTE in Portugal, she studied Strategic Foresight at the University of Houston. Sarah is the founder of Futures Friends and a member of the Association of Professional Futurists and the World Future Studies Federation. She has presented at global events, including Cannes Lions, Pause Fest, FUTR Summit, and World Retail Congress, and has been quoted as an expert in The Financial Times, CNN, Vogue, Bloomberg, and The Guardian.
