Anne Beate Hovind is an urban developer who commissions and produces art in public spaces. She is the curator of two world-renowned works: Future Library in Oslo, a public artwork by Scottish artist Katie Paterson, and Losæter/FlatbreadSociety by the art collective Futurefarmers. Over the past 20 years, Anne Beate has worked at the interface of art, culture, and business, gaining vast experience in realising complex and original projects, including developing public services, building a hospital, city planning, placemaking, and passenger-oriented development for airports. In 2018, she received the Oslo Municipality's Artist Award for her work with art in the city.
