Yaser is the Founder and CEO of Silver Peak Capital Advisors, a UAE-based financial consulting firm. He has 25 years of professional experience acquired in the United States and the Middle East. Yaser spent most of his career as an investment practitioner, during which time he developed and implemented investment strategies across direct and financial portfolio investments. He is experienced in capital markets and macro-economic analysis. Yaser currently serves on the Investment Committees of several family groups and was appointed in 2022 as a non-Executive Board member of Bidaya Finance, a Saudi finance company. Previously, Yaser was an Investment Consulting Principal with Mercer, Head of Asset Management at Emirates Investment Bank in Dubai, and a fund manager with Mission Square in Washington, DC. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2002 and received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a native bilingual Arabic and English speaker.
