Joana Lenkova is a Strategist and Futurist with over 15 years of international experience in Marketing, Innovation, Strategy and Strategic Foresight across different FMCG Finance and Entertainment blue-chip companies, such as The Walt Disney Company, the LEGO Group, AB InBev, Societe Generale, as well as successfully growing start-ups. Joana is a published author and sought-after thought leader in Innovation, Strategy and Foresight. She is currently completing her interactive book on strategic foresight tools, practices, and examples from the public and private sectors. She is a graduate of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in Strategy and Innovation and in 2019 founded Futures Forward, a London based consultancy in strategy and foresight. Prior to that Joana held a Strategy role at The Walt Disney Company in London and led the Disney Futures Team for the UK and Ireland. In 2021 Joana joined the LEGO Group as their first Futurology Director, where she’s building foresight capabilities, creating futures intelligence, and integrating foresight into essential strategic and innovation leadership decisions. Joana is a founding member of the Global Foresight Advisory Council of The Futures School, a member of the Association of Professional Futurists, and the Oxford Union.
