Oskar Mencer is the CEO and founder of Maxeler Technologies, which has been acquired by Groq in 2022. Previously, he was a researcher at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, a HIVIPS scholar at Hitachi Central Research Laboratories in Kokubunji, Japan, and the Systems Research Center of DIGITAL in Palo Alto. Dr Mencer got his PhD in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, and recently served on the board of Academia Europaea. These days, Oskar lives on Palm Jumeirah and runs Maxeler as a project subsidiary for Groq.
