Dr June Brawner is Senior Policy Adviser for Data at the Royal Society, the United Kingdom’s national scientific academy, where she leads policy programmes that aim to realise the potential of data and digital technologies for the benefit of humanity. Her work has included privacy enhancing technologies and federated analytics, AI ethics, climate technology and green computing, and the role of digital technologies in addressing social inequities. June is a Fellow at Cambridge University’s Centre for Science and Policy; she previously completed international research fellowships with Columbia University’s Council for European Studies and the Fulbright Foundation.
