Narue Shiki
UNDP
Narue Paulilo Shiki is the Futures Lead at UNDP. Her role is to help UNDP become more agile and anticipatory and to establish an ecosystem that considers futures proactively and systematically, enabling UNDP to achieve stronger development impact. Narue has worked for over 22 years in international development and cooperation. In her previous role in Corporate Strategy, she led UNDP’s future of development strategy labs and helped embed strategic foresight in UNDP’s strategic plan. Narue has worked in Latin America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. As a member of UNDP’s surge mechanism, she has served in special deployments in the Philippines, Yemen and Afghanistan. She has an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia.
