Cities around the world are feeling the effects of climate change and the need to act locally to future proof their cities through net zero solutions. It is becoming clear that competition between cities, i.e, “Which single city represents the global best practice”, is no longer a tangible approach to finding and implementing solutions across all city sizes and shapes. Only collaboration between multiple cities will help achieve what cities need to both adapt for a changing climate and mitigate through net zero applications. This facilitated discussion with Dubai and global city leaders will be a facilitated discussion with practical outputs that can be taken forward by leaders to continue engagement across the cities.
