Described by Andreessen Horowitz as "the Silicon Valley CEO's CEO", Alfred is an accomplished entrepreneur and a successful investor. As the co-founder and CEO of BEA Systems, Alfred led the company to its acquisition by Oracle for $8.5 billion. Alfred and the Race Capital team are among the first investors in Databricks ($38bn), FTX ($32bn), Solana ($15bn), Slack ($27bn) and many other outliers.
During the session, Alfred will share his billion-dollar journey from startup founder to venture investor on 2 June at AREA 2071 giving valuable advice to founders and investors alike on how to navigate their way out of the current market downturn.

Known for being the co-founder and CEO of BEA Systems, Alfred led BEA Systems to its acquisition by Oracle for $8.6 billion.
