Victoria Mulligan is the Design Principal at X is Y a boutique management consultancy based in Auckland New Zealand. She specialises in the future of work and leads the consultancy’s ways of working practice. Victoria is a builder of things – teams, strategies, services and futures – and uses strategic foresight and participatory futures tools to create more resilient and adaptive strategies, and purposeful cultures. She is the co-founder of the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Design Futures Initiative, Reviewer for World Futures Review and founder and designer of the Aotearoa Futures New Zealand Network Map – an iniative created to map the network of Futures practitioners in New Zealand. Victoria trained as a psychologist and worked in government and NGOs around the world before joining the private sector. A regular contributor to consumer and academic publications, Victoria is a thought leader at the intersection of design, innovation, business and social good. She lives in Auckland with her husband and four young children.
