Maree has been a foresight practitioner, researcher and writer for over 22 years. She has a PhD on university futures from Swinburne University in Australia, focusing on how different worldviews about those futures construct multiple conflicting futures in the present. This research is the basis for Foresight in the Present, Maree’s current endeavour to explore more deeply how we can allow ourselves to develop futures consciousness, primarily by recognising the power and use of our individual and collective foresight to enable new thinking, new perspectives and new actions to emerge in the present. Maree is currently writing her second book: Worldviews, Assumptions and our Futures.
