Dr. Kaïs Hammami is the Director of the Strategic Foresight Center of ICESCO. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Foresight from Paris, where he earned the highest honorable distinction, with unanimous accolades from the jury “Summa cum Laude”. Dr. Hammami served as holder of the UNESCO Chair for “Foresight, Anticipation, and Strategic Decision” in both the African and Arab regions. With an extensive career spanning two decades, his expertise extends across diverse domains, including Strategy, Foresight, AI governance, Economy, Territorial Foresight, Urban Planning, Management, Philosophy, and more, spanning five regions (the Middle East and North Africa, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America). Dr. Hammami’s worked with several governments and international organizations, including the United Nations, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP, ICC, CNAM, FAO, World Bank, European Union, ILO, and OECD. He taught foresight and strategic decision-making at numerous renowned educational institutions such as the Tunisian National School of Administration, the Diplomatic Institute, Sorbonne University, and Carthage University. Dr. Hammami has made a significant contribution to the development of over 250 international foresight studies, as well as numerous academic articles, books, and publications. He also trained more than 6000 individuals.
